Iontosorb IDA

Chelating sorbent

With iminodiacetic acid bound covalently in side chains of bead-form cellulose:

is-ida

The sorbent has applications not only as a chelating sorbent, but it is especially proper for Metal Ion Affinity Chromatography (IMAC).

Technical Parameters

Iontosorb IDA (non-magnetic sorbents) or Iontosorb MG IDA (magnetic sorbents) is delivered with the following content of functional groups:

 Content of functional groups

mmol Cu / gram dry sorbents

LOW 0.06 - 0.10
MEDIUM 0.11 - 0.15
HIGH 0.16 - 0.20
VERY HIGH 0,21 - 0,29

In an order a demanded content of functional groups shall be given (e.g. Iontosorb IDA 100 M means demanded content of functional groups 0.11 - 0.15 mmol/g dry; Iontosorb MG IDA 100 L means demanded content of functional groups 0.06 - 0.10 mmol/g dry).
