Iontosorb TS
is a modified bead-form cellulose containing p-toluenesulphonic functional groups:
Iontosorb TS due to its reactive tosyl-groups enables preparing the new derivatives of bead-form cellulose by alkylation. The content of tosyl-groups is variable in the range 0.5 to 5 % S.
Another manner of using this sorbent is the affinity chromatography during the immobilization of compounds containing amide or thiole groups in ligands.
